We hope you have made a firm resolution to visit the MBG at least once a month in 2026.

Japonica Camellia Season is in bloom! Don’t miss this fleeting, colorful display that brightens the dull, cold days of January. It is a wonderful time to visit the gardens. As you arrive in the gardens, you will also observe that we are currently extending the irrigation line along the entrance drive.

A little surprise will greet you as you approach the curve in the Phase I pathway and pass the Forsythia shrubs. Their tiny yellow blossoms are already beginning to herald the promise of Spring! They typically do not begin to bloom until late February.
